Cottage Country Construction was formed in the summer of 1996 by the joining of three carpenters, with a combined construction trade experience of about 45 years. By the late fall of that year, the third partner left to pursue a career in another field. Until the spring of 1998, Cottage Country Construction worked primarily as a sub-contract company, serving several contractors in the Muskoka, Orillia and Barrie areas. Work consisted of framing, siding, decks, trim and general renovations.

Presently, Cottage Country Construction is under the directorship of Brian Higgins. Todate, we have completed over 40 projects that have used ICF products in varying degrees. Although most of our work has been with recreation or residential projects, we have also been involved in numerous commercial projects.

Brian resides in Bracebridge, Ontario, where his wife and family are actively involved in the local community.
